TIMEsink REVIEW: Frog Fractions

Edutainment - that odd genre of games that tries to combine fun with teaching, in one package. While a lot of these games ended up as shovelware, some of the more stubborn examples turned out to be useful tools for teaching children how to do various things - such as understanding languages, acting appropriately in situations and working through basic mathematical concepts.

Frog Fractions is one of the latter. Or, at least, it pretends to be.

There's really very little to say about Frog Fractions that won't spoil the experience for new players - it's heartily recommended that you go into the game blind, and enjoy the trip (which, ironically, I wouldn't recommend for children). As just one hint, I'll say - if you can fly, then you should defy expectations.

Alun's Timesink Rating: 3. It lasts longer than you might think, but not forever.
